The tax credit expansions included in the Recovery Act are at risk. Over the next month, NCTC will be collecting photos from programs, VITA volunteers, and VITA clients. These photos express why the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Child Tax Credit (CTC) are important to them.

Join our virtual rally:

  1. Print-off your protest signs and add why the credits are important to you.
  2. Ask as many people to participate - including colleagues, VITA volunteers, and clients
  3. Take photos of all the participants (view some examples)
  4. Photo Release: We ask that all virtual rally participants submit this completed form.
  5. Send photos to Lucy Mullany at NCTC. Include your organization's name, the name of the person in the photo, and their role (i.e. position at the organization, VITA volunteer, VITA Client).

What Happens Next?

NCTC will compile photos by state. These photos, along with a letter signed by your organizations and an impact report on how the credits economically benefit your state and individual workers, will be sent to your Members of Congress.  The photos and information will be compiled in a user-friendly, state specific, e-book.
