Technical Assistance

What types of technical assistance are available?

Consultative Technical Assistance is a general type of assistance provided to an affiliate or associate. The NCTC provides information, facilitation or guidance to access whatever information the program is seeking to enable, empower and enhance its services.

Intensive Technical Assistance is customized technical assistance provided to a particular affiliate agency for a longer period of time. NCTC provides an action plan in the subject matter to help build the program's capacity.

Is Technical Assistance free?

The following offerings are free to all NCTC affiliates and associates:

  • Yahoo listservs, which facilitate peer exchange information
  • Program tools, which include hundreds of resource materials
  • Publications by subject field experts
  • Analysis of IRS and government policies
  • Communication with liaisons to IRS decision-makers

Note: Affiliates may have additional access to consultative or intensive technical assistance directly from NCTC staff via email, phone or in person by completing this form.

Who provides the Technical Assistance?

NCTC staff will coordinate the delivery of technical assistance to the field by linking subject matter experts to provide the resources in demand.
