NTA Project

The NTA application, funded by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, developed by Metis Associates, is a Microsoft Access-based application run locally at each campaign coordinator’s machine. The application automates the process of importing tax return and survey data from TaxWise, and generating various performance statistics. The data imported is stripped of all individually identifiable information meeting the strict confidentiality requirements of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Once data are imported, the campaign coordinator can further edit the data and generate reports.

National Program Survey

To better understand the aggregate impact of the community VITA field, the NCTC surveys the field at the end of each tax filing season. We publish summaries of this data so our affiliates can see how their programs compare to one another.
