Create Safe Choices. Community tax preparers offer a high-quality choice for low-income families—one that's free, accessible and that specializes in helping working families claim their full refunds and all the credits to which they're entitled. NCTC supports enacting permanent and increased funding for free community tax preparation services, so that more families can benefit.
