Whether your catching up on the latest community tax news via Tax Buzz or creating new resources for the field in a working group, NCTC has several ways for you to share your passion and voice for the work you do.

Newsletters: Our monthly newsletters will keep you informed on the latest community tax news, resources, trainings and advocacy issues.
Listservs: To keep you informed about important issues, NCTC hosts several listservs. Subscribers can easily send messages to everyone else who is subscribed. If you're not already participating, you can sign up at any time.
Join a Working Group or Forum: One way to get involved in the work of NCTC is to join one of our working groups or forums. As a member, you'll have a chance to interact with your peers and influence the development of NCTC products and the positions we take on issues relevant to our field.

Cuyahoga County EITC Coalition

Located in the heart of Cleveland - one of the poorest cities in the country - the Cuyahoga County EITC Coalition has been preparing taxes, offering financial education classes and more since 2005.

Since then, the Coalition has gone from preparing 2,000 tax returns a year to about 10,000 in 2012.

Kathy Matthews of Enterprise Community Partners, the Coalition's lead organization, answered a few questions about the Cuyahoga County EITC Coalition's work.
