As an NCTC Affiliate, you can attend all of our convenient online trainings completely free! With over 45 trainings to choose from annually, you can attend classes such as Marketing Your Tax Prep Site to Effective Conversations with Your Congressperson to Delivering Asset Building Services. Not to mention, you'll receive significant discounts on all of NCTC's regional summits and our biennial national conference.
4. A strong voice (and resource) for you.
NCTC provides a strong voice in Washington, D.C. for the free tax preparation field, monitoring legislation and encouraging action. Did you know that NCTC was the organization responsible for leading the effort to establish the federal VITA Grant Program? It's true. In 2007, we proved that through the expertise, commitment and numbers of our members, we could change tax policy and practice at the highest level.
